"I'm bad at fighting, but I like RPG worlds." "I want to raise something slowly while idle." For anyone like that, here is the shop-management RPG app Dungeon Shop: Isekai Shopkeeper RPG.

Note: price, supported OS, size and age rating are based on the App Store listing as of October 29, 2026. They can change, so check the latest information on the store page before buying. • The ones who fight are adventurers holding the weapons you sold
  • According to the store description: fully offline, no ads, auto-save, about 2 hours to the ending
  • Distributed on the iPhone (App Store)

What kind of game is it?

A voxel-art shop-management RPG where, as a shopkeeper holding neither sword nor magic, you set up shop at a dungeon entrance and grow a single stall into the Great Dungeon Trading Company. The ones who fight are adventurers gripping the swords you sold. The biggest feature is that the hero doesn't fight.

The trade cycle (how to play)

  1. Gather: hire explorers and they set out automatically to grasslands and mines and bring back herbs, iron ore and more.
  2. Process: staff finish materials into potions and swords at the workbench. Each recipe has an auto-process switch.
  3. Serve: adventurers browse the shelves and line up at the register. If there aren't enough staff, they get tired of waiting and leave, and your reputation drops.
  4. Buy: you buy the finds adventurers bring back from the dungeon. If you can buy cheap you make a big profit, but refusing lowers your reputation slightly.
  5. Expand: add shelves, hire people, and grow from a stall to a small shop, a highway trading house, a dungeon department store and the Great Dungeon Trading Company.

What defeats the Demon Lord is your "stock"

Whether you can move on to the back rooms depends on what you sell. Unless you line the shelves with weapons suited to each opponent, such as the "Giant-Slayer War Hammer" for the gatekeeper golem, the "Twin-Fang Dagger" for the two-headed beast and the "Holy Sword Aurora" for the Demon Lord, adventurers can't proceed. Defeat the Demon Lord and the ending plays.

Leave it to your head clerk and go idle

Turn on four switches, processing, stock, hiring and investment, and purchase decisions, and your head clerk runs the shop for you. You can take back control at any time. According to the store description, you can also collect sales earned while the app is closed.

What to check before buying

Note: check the store page before purchase for whether there are in-app purchases and what they are.

Who it's for, and who it isn't

Recommended for: people who like the feeling of numbers climbing, people who like stories where the hero doesn't fight, and people who want to check on the shop for a little while before bed.

Not for: people who want to control action or combat with their own hands.
