What kind of game is it?
A turn-based roguelike RPG where the terrain changes every dive, in which you dive with a single pickaxe. When you take a step, the monsters take a step too, so you advance by thinking carefully. It suits both spare moments and long, settled sessions.
The features are "dig, craft and raise"
- Dig: you can dig the dungeon's walls with the pickaxe. Turn dead ends into shortcuts, or dig through a wall to escape when surrounded. The dirt and stone you dig can be placed as blocks, so you can even block corridors to hold enemies back.
- Craft: place a workbench and furnace in the dungeon and craft on the spot. You can turn ore into ingots and make torches, keys, pickaxes, beds, minecarts and meals.
- Raise: with the materials and gold you bring back, you build facilities in your town (a castle, item shop, inn, workshop, library, summoning hall, casino and more).
14 jobs and four dungeons
You can choose from 14 jobs: warrior, mage, priest, thief, martial artist, hunter, miner, sage, blacksmith, appraiser, spellsword, ninja, samurai and hero. Each job has completely different stats and skills, and equipping a job bracelet lets you use other jobs' skills too.
- Easy, "Sunny Hollow", 10 floors: for first-timers.
- Normal, "Echo Mine", 30 floors: the start of a real adventure.
- Hard, "Crimson Great Cavern", 50 floors: items become unidentified.
- Very Hard, "Roots of the Abyss", 99 floors: no carrying items in, the toughest challenge.
